Apply as a CI Mentor or CI Mentee

The first step to becoming a CI Mentor or CI Mentee is to submit an application. The application is a short form that asks for several pieces of information to help pair mentors/mentees. Requested information includes:

Demographic information is requested to document progress towards reaching all RCD professionals and report this data to the National Science Foundation as part of the MR-RCD Consortium award.

Introduction Workshop and Ongoing Activities

Once mentors/mentees have been selected, they will attend a 1-hour introductory online workshop. Mentors/mentees should plan to meet monthly for about an hour for 9 months. Mentors and Mentees will be publicly acknowledged at the annual network retreat (held in Spring) and may be asked to report their experience in the form of a blog post or a report. Mentors and Mentees will receive a stipend of $250 for successful completion of their program.
