Midwest Research Computing and Data Consortium
One of the objectives of the Midwest RCD consortium is co-creation and transformation for CI professionals. To do this we created a Residency Fellows Program. This program supports a week-long residency for meritorious individuals to deepen connections. This program provides high-impact professional development opportunities to network members and builds capacity for CI professionals and exceptional CI students.
Through a residency, a Fellow will spend one week at another institution within the consortium. The Fellows will interact with other CI professionals, students, and faculty from relevant fields of study. They will attend lectures, explore CI resources; and engage in activities of mutual interest.
Network institutions will co-develop Residency fellows opportunities and the Steering Committee will vet the applicants. Fellows will submit a report or blog post detailing what was accomplished, their experience, and any suggestions for program improvements. Up to $2,500 is available to support residency experiences.
